About

As the proprietor of Caring Touch Massage, LLC, I would like to welcome you to my website. My name is Connie McCammon and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I graduated in 2013 from Aquarian Age Alternatives Professional School of Therapeutic Massage in Indianapolis. Upon successfully passing the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), I received my license from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency in February 2014.

In August 2014, I received further training from Tina and earned a specialization in touch therapy for children with trauma.

AMTA-MCTMB-LogoFrom August 2013 to May 2014, I worked part-time for a local chiropractor. In this capacity I was able to hone my skills in Swedish massage, myofascial release, repetitive use injury technique, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching (PNF), deep tissue, and pregnancy massage. I was provided with the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and to put my educational training into practical application.

I am currently a CASA volunteer (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Vigo County. I served as a respite foster parent with Hamilton Center Child and Adolescent Services in Terre Haute, Indiana. I also have several years of experience as a middle school and high school teacher, tutor, and coach.

I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

In September of 2015 I was nominated as one of the top 25 finalists for the national Comfort Keeper of the Year award.
